Earlier in the month we announced that we would be working with the lovely folk at SEGA on a new range of exclusive, official bags, inspired by two classic consoles – the Mega Drive (Genesis) and the Dreamcast.
We’ve been busily working on the designs and now we’re very happy to reveal the first concept images… and here they are!
The Mega Drive maxi bag design is 410 x 310 x 115mm – big enough to hold an average laptop and all manner of geekery too. The whole bag is ‘Mega Black’, with matching piping and zips. The front is printed with a classic Mega Drive design, complete with all the familiar details and late eighties wizardry we all know and love. On the back, there’s a handy full length zip, while inside there’s space and pockets for all your essentials.
The Dreamcast midi bag design is 277 x 285 x 115mm – big enough to carry an iPad and other geeky extras. It’s made in ‘Dreamy Grey’, with contrasting grey piping and zips. The front is printed with the three geo-locked variations of the design – orange for Japan, red for US and blue for EU – and has all the detail from the classic console. Again, on the back, there is a nifty full length zip and inside there’s pockets and space galore!
Both designs are made of polyurethane (like a classic flight bag) and will be priced between £25 and £35 (TBC). The bags will be entering production very soon and we hope to get the first prototype shots online soon… with a view to preorders going live in the autumn.
We’re really excited about this new range and we’re looking forward to adding both console bags to our range of products very soon!
